Fool proof fairy cakes!

100g caster sugar 
100g unsalted butter
100g self raising flour
2 Medium eggs (free range if you can) 
1tsp vanilla extract 

Step 1: 
Weight out ingredients

Step 2: 
Mix your butter and sugar together

Step 3: 
Break your eggs into a cup and add your vanilla extract in and mix together 

Step 4: 
Add this into your butter sugar mixture 

Step 5: 
Sift in your flour and mix well

It should look something like this 

I added in 50g of chocolate chips but you don't have to do this if you don't want to 

Next transfer this into fairy cake cases (which I don't have a picture of because I'm a crappy blogger) 

They take about 10 mins in a oven at 180degrees, they should be golden brown on top and springy to the touch! 

Then doctorate how you want! 

I used Betty Crocker strawberry icing, and fudge chocolate icing, honeycomb pieces and marshmallows! Well I say I decorated them my boyfriend did!
